Created to mark the 10th anniversary of the Initiale model by Charlie Paris, The Quiet Beat translates the language of watchmaking into a sensory and sonic register. The ticking of the movement is approached as a pulse, a steady and organic measure. The film is built around this founding analogy : mechanical precision as a living rhythm.

A 100% drum composition is structured directly on the tempo of a watch movement. Repetition, rigor and consistency shape the writing, allowing the rhythm to settle, evolve and gradually expand. A minimalist progression where precision becomes emotional material. Shot within the singular atmosphere of the legendary Studio Ferber, the film takes the form of a restrained and intimate portrait.
